Yellow Ribbon

Yellow Ribbon work with disadvantaged and vunerable children and young people in the local area. Their main aims are to prevent suicide and support those affected by suicide. The activities that they undertake include bowling, horse riding, ice skating, miniature golf etc. The children involved with Yellow Ribbon do not have the opportunity to access activities with the community and can feel isolated and lonely. The grant received from Cash for Kids will help to refurbish a room in their centre, which can be used as a "chill out zone" for the children. The room is empty at the moment so the grant will help provide a fun room, equipped with games and activities, where they can talk and express their feelings and experiences.
