Lower Ormeau Residents Action Group (LORAG)

LORAG aims to support and enhance the lives of children who live within the Lower Ormeau Area. They work closely with the Belfast Circus School in a cross community program in order to provide weekly classes for the children to attend. In these classes they learn new skills such as juggling, stilt walking and acrobatics which help improve their self-esteem, boost their confidence and enhance their communication skills. The grant that Cash for Kids has provided will supply new equipment for the children to take home so they can practice their new skills. They will also design a tracksuit they can wear to their lessons, which will unite the children a create a team environment.
