One woman has died in Westminster 'terror incident'

Reports are emerging that a woman has died in the incident that took place earlier on Westminster bridge near the Houses Of Parliament.
A car was reportedly seen crashing into crowds resulting in injuries. However now a doctor at St Thomas' hospital has confirmed that a woman has sadly died and a number of others have been hurt, including some with 'catastrophic injuries'.
The incident is believed to linked to an attack on the Houses Of Parliament that involved a police officer being stabbed and the believed suspect being shot.
Commander Harrington from the Metropolitan Police has released the following statement:
The Metropolitan Police have also confirmed they are currently treating this as a terrorist incident until they know otherwise.
A statement from the London Ambulance Service reads:
It has been confirmed that Prime Minister Theresa May is unharmed and was not involved in the incident.
Tom Peck, political editor for the Independent, tweeted: "There was a loud bang. Screams. Commotion. Then the sound of gunshots. Armed police everywhere."
