Cop26: US President Biden arrives in Scotland for climate summit
He landed in Edinburgh this morning after attending the G20 in Rome.

US President Joe Biden has arrived in Scotland ahead of the Cop26 climate summit after leaving Rome this morning where he attended the G20.
The American leader touched down in Edinburgh on Air Force One at around 11am.
His motorcade left Edinburgh Airport for Glasgow where he will attend the Cop26 World Leaders Summit at the SEC.
President Biden is one of more than 120 heads of state attending the summit, which has been described as the 'last chance' to take action on climate change.
Approximately 25,000 world leaders and delegates from across the globe will descend on the city over the next two weeks, leading to road closures and disruption for locals.

Other prominent climate activists and leaders were taking part in negotiations. Scotland's First Minister Nicola Sturgeon met young climate campaigners Greta Thunberg and Vanessa Nakate and called on leaders to "put their egos aside" to work on the common issue of solving the climate crisis.
