World Cup qualifiers: 17-year-old Dale Taylor gets first call-up to NI squad
Former Linfield youngster Dale Taylor has been handed a first call-up for Northern Ireland as the squad prepares for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Lithuania and Euro champions, Italy.
The 17-year-old striker who is now at Nottingham Forest, had been part of the Northern Ireland under-23 squad.
The only other uncapped player in the squad is Reading goalkeeper Luke Southwood.
Striker Shayne Lavery is unavailable through injury but Jonny Evans is back.
Northern Ireland take on Lithuania next Friday night before playing Italy on Monday, November 15.
Both games take place at the National Stadium at Windsor Park.
