Sion Swifts are the new Jordan’s Gift Women’s Premiership League Cup champions.

Last night (Wednesday) they beat current Premiership leaders Cliftonville Ladies 2-0 after extra time in the final at the Blanchflower Stadium.

Cora Chambers who was a half-time substitute was the hero after bagging a double to seal the win.

She had returned to her club side in time for the final after training with the Northern Ireland squad.

It is Sion's first trophy win since lifting the Irish Cup in 2017.
