Women's Euro 2022 finals: NI set to renew rivalries with England and Austria
Northern Ireland will make their debut in next summer's Women's Euro finals in the same group as England.
They have been drawn together in Group A for the tournament, which has been pushed back a year due to Covid-19.
Kenny Shiels' side took on England recently at Wembley in a World Cup qualifier which they lost 4-0 after holding the hosts for some 65 minutes.
Northern Ireland, who are also the lowest ranked team in the competition, also face Austria. The two sides met earlier this week at Seaview with Northern Ireland just two minutes away from a famous win but a stoppage-time goal left the final score 2-2.
The Lionesses and Northern Ireland are due to face each other in their concluding fixture in Group A at St Mary's Stadium, Southampton on July 15.
Also in the group are Norway.
