'We're just looking to pick up points' Hamilton brushes aside title talk
Glenavon boss on tonight's Danske Bank Premiership game with Ballymena
Glenavon can move four points clear of Linfield at the top of the Dankse Bank Premiership tonight (Friday).
Standing in their way are Ballymena who have worked their way up to third in the table.
But Lurgan Blues boss Gary Hamilton said they would be fully focused on the game – not the league position.
“I think it (league) is more open – Cliftonville have started to get a few results together, you’ll always have Coleraine there and Crusaders are too good a team and have too much quality to fall away out of the title race,” he said
“At the minute we are not really bothered about the title race – we are just looking at game to game and just trying to pick up points.”
Elsewhere, the Crues are away to Newry City and could go third with a win.
The kick-off in both games is 7.45
