WATCH: 'We're ready' - Mulgrew on a battery recharged Linfield
But Blues captain says Glenavon and Crusaders are title contenders

Jamie Mulgrew has branded Linfield’s 2017-18 season “unacceptable” and said they are ready to make amends.
The Blues captain was speaking as a guest on our latest BetMcLean Football show, in association with NIFL, now available to view on Cool FM’s Facebook page (see link below).
Mulgrew tells us: “I think in hindsight that us not getting into Europe, and the way we finished the season, gave us time to reflect on what was an unacceptable season.
“I think it gave us that extra time to recharge the batteries and come back and be ready for the challenge.”
The midfielder believes new Danske Bank Premiership leaders, Glenavon, are genuine title contenders this season.
But he says it would be “disrespectful” to rule out Crusaders – despite their shocking start to the season.
“Glenavon have young players, full of energy, full of hunger, full of desire. It’s a good recipe. It doesn’t shock me, their form and the way they’re playing at the minute,” he said.
“I think it would be very disrespectful and very naïve to think that they’re not going to be there or thereabouts. They’ve got the experience and the knowhow, and I’d be shocked if they didn’t pick things up and turn things around.”
Mulgrew is joined this week by Institute boss Paddy McLaughlin.
