WATCH: Team GB flag bearer Andy Murray almost hits Princess Anne with the UK flag
At least his tennis skills are better than his flag bearing skills!
Yesterday (4th August) Wimbledon Champion, Andy Murray was announced as the UK's flag-bearer and as you would expect he attended a media event to mark the occasion.
The event, which took place in Rio - with the world's media, saw Andy joined by the Princess Royal for a photoshoot.
This was when the tennis player's flag bearing skills were put to the test as the photographers were shouting instructions from afar. As Andy tried to please them all, moving the flag up and down and left and right he almost hits Princess Anne who is patiently standing to his left.
At one point Andy is holding the flag directly in front of her face, but she has a giggle over the situation and eventually the photographers get the perfect photo.
The official Royal Family Facebook page also saw the funny side and posted the video last night with the comment, 'Andy Murray - we're sure your racket handling skills are better than your flag bearing ones.'
The Princess Royal has had a long standing association with the Olympics. She was a competitor in 1976 and she is currently President of the British Olympic Association and a Member of the International Olympic Committee. The Princess' daughter Zara Phillips also competed in the London 2012 Olympics.
