WATCH: Luis Garcia on Liverpool's bid for another Champions League title
Former Kop hero speaks to Downtown & Cool FM during IFA coaching session
Former Liverpool star Luis Garcia has been undertaking his coaching badges in Belfast with the Irish FA.
The Champions League winner, now 40, took some time out to speak to Downtown & Cool FM.
Garcia says he’s a huge fan of Jurgen Klopp – and believes he deserves much of the credit for what has been a remarkable season.
"The way he manages is so passionate, and he's so close to the players and the supporters, it's a fantastic connection,” he said.
“You can see the reaction in the players on the pitch, whether or not they've been playing.
“Klopp did a great job in managing the whole team, so we have to give the credit to him.
"At least the team made it to the Champions League final. It's something we all expected and wanted to see after what happened last year, so hopefully the team does well, and gets another trophy."
Garcia will be forever remembered for his so-called ‘ghost goal’ in the semi-final of that year against Chelsea.
The tag was given to the strike by then Blues boss Jose Mourinho who was convinced the ball had not crossed the line.
Reflecting on the moment, Garcia said: “"I love that memory, and that people remember it. Even Chelsea fans, they can laugh about it at this stage.
“It's part of Liverpool history, and my history, and I love to talk about it.
