Washington leaves QPR for Blades
Northern Ireland striker leaves club by mutual consent
Northern Ireland striker Conor Washington has had his contract at QPR terminated – by mutual consent.
The 26-year-old has gone to Championship rivals, Sheffield United where he will link up with international colleague, Oliver Norwood.
His contract was due to expire at the end of the season.
Washington who has been called up to the Northern Ireland squad to face Bosnia on September 8.
In a statement, QPR thanked him for all his efforts and wished him every success for the future.
