The Belfast Giants have progressed to the semi-finals of the Viaplay Elite League play-offs.

However, it was not plain sailing for Adam Keefe's side after losing their second leg 4-3 to Glasgow last night (Sunday).

The Giants booked their place in the last four courtesy of a 7-6 aggregate score - and having already bagged a history-making sixth Elite League title, they are on course for finishing the season with a Grand Slam.

They now face the Nottingham Panthers in Saturday's semi at the National Ice Centre in Nottingham, with the winners playing either the Sheffield Steelers or Cardiff Devils in the final.
