Ulster top Conference B after win over Southern Kings in South Africa
Dan McFarland's side maintain perfect start to the season
Ulster’s perfect start to the new PRO14 season continues.
They are now the only side in Conference B with a three wins from three record – after beating Southern Kings yesterday in the first of their double header in South Africa.
Marcell Coetzee, Angus Kernohan (main pic) and Angus Curtis all touched down, with the visitors winning 28-7.
Head coach, Dan McFarland said it was a good win considering the Kings were in impressive form themselves.
“We know how competitive they are - how dangerous they can be,” he said.
“I thought they demonstrated that today – there was a lot of enthusiasm they played with in the first half playing at home in front of their fans.
“We obviously found it difficult to deal with for 60 minutes.”
