Challenge Cup: Ulster progress to the quarter-finals after win over Ospreys
Ulster are through to the quarter-finals of the European Challenge Cup.
Last night (Saturday) they beat Ospreys 28-24 in a thrilling, action-packed encounter at the Affidea Stadium.
Conditions throughout were harsh with Storm Dave unleashing high swirling winds.
However, it was Ospreys, competition quarter-finalists over the past two seasons, who made the better start and went in at half time 17-14 in front.
Ulster emerged stronger after the break and tries from Jacob Stockdale and Nick Timoney along with a couple of Nathan Doak conversions, sealed the win.
Richie Murphy's side will now play La Rochelle at home for a place in the semis - on Friday, April 10th.
