Scot rivals to battle it out for Laff signature
NI striker in Edinburgh for talks with Hearts and Hibs
Kyle Lafferty was in Edinburgh today for talks over his club future.
Hearts are favourite to sign the big Northern Ireland striker, who was released by Norwich at the end of the season.
Big rivals Hibs are also understood to be interested in securing the Fermanagh man’s services.
And talks are also expected later with boss Neil Lennon.
Lafferty (29) enjoyed a successful spell in Scotland with Rangers after signing from Burnley in 2008.
One of the highlights of his career at Ibrox was scoring the winning goal against Hibs at Easter Road – to secure the league title for Rangers with three matches left to play.
Since signing for Norwich, though, he has played little domestic football while continuing to make a big impact on the international front.
