Ballyclare rider in pole position for Superbike success
Jonathan Rea is on the brink of an historic world motorcycling treble.
The 30-year-old Ballyclare Superbike rider picked up another couple of huge wins at the weekend in Portugal.
He is back in action at Magny Cours in France in two weeks’ time and could clinch his third successive title with another win.
After that, there are just two rounds of the Championship left – in Spain and Qatar.
He is currently 120 points ahead of the pack.
