Eoin Bradley has cautioned against making Coleraine favourites for the Danske Bank Premiership title.

The Bannsiders forward was speaking as a guest on our latest BetMcLean football show which can be viewed on Cool FM’s Facebook page or downloaded as a podcast (see link below).

After 13 games, Coleraine sit top of the pile unbeaten since Oran Kearney returned as boss after a spell in Scotland with St Mirren.

Bradly says they cannot be considered title contenders unless they continue their run through to next year.

“You want to be as high up the table as you can, and we're at the top, but you can't talk about winning the league in October,” he said.

“You have to wait until January or February, and if we're still top of league by then, then yes, you'll hear everybody talking about it."

Bradley said that while it was good to beat closest rivals such as Linfield and Crusaders, he said it was vital they had to take a measured approach to games.

"It's only 3 points at the end of the day,” he said.

“You get the same 3 points for beating Linfield or Crusaders as you do for beating Warrenpoint or Dungannon.

“But it's good to be beating them, rather than be getting beaten by them, but it's one game at a time."

Bradley also revealed how to get the best out of him as a player.

"Oran Kearney and Gary Hamilton are very similar managers,” he said.

“Anyone who's ever put the arm around me, made me feel good, that's who I play my best football for.

“Now I'm probably playing the best football of my career and that's mostly down to Oran."

"There are times I need an arm around the shoulder and times I need a rollicking and Oran's the man for it, he knows how to work people. Whenever I heard he was coming back I was delighted.
