A World War Two Spitfire will soar above fourteen of Northern Ireland's hospitals today and tomorrow as part of a thank you message for all NHS staff and those battling Covid-19.

People are being offered the chance to nominate names to be written on to the family-owned iconic Spitfire which takes flight to raise funds for NHS Charities Together.

From a family member to a kind neighbour, close friend or community hero, nominations are being made by the public as a way of recognising small acts of kindness.

The aim is to lift the spirits of those across the UK, whilst also thanking the hospitals, communities and individuals who have been at the forefront of getting the country through the pandemic.

In return for a donation, people's nominated name will be one of those written on the Spitfire, which has an 80,000 name capacity.
