Linfield will be hoping to extend their unbeaten run in the Danske Bank Premiership to an incredible 12 games when they take on Newry City later.

You have to go back to the first of December for the last time Linfield dropped all three points when they lost 1-0 to Ballymena.

Since then they have won 10 and drew one - in between picking up the League Cup.

Stephen Baxter, who had led Crusaders to the last two titles, says he cannot see anyone stopping the Blues this season.

“It’s Linfield’s title to lose – they are quite a bit ahead,” he told Downtown & Cool FM

“The games are running out.

“We had a colossal lad two years ago and capitulated a little bit – unless we see a collapse of that sort of proportions I don’t see anything other than a Linfield win.”

Newry on the other hand are fighting for the lives at the bottom - after losing to Ards

Glentoran take on Warrenpoint - aiming for their first win in three.

Finally, in the other game of the night second-place Ballymena host Cliftonville.

The kick-off on all of the games is 7.45pm
