It's on ... Frampton all set to make history with win over Herring
Carl Frampton has vowed to do what no boxer from Northern Ireland or the Republic has ever done.
The Jackal will take on Jamel Herring on February 27.
The American holds the WBO super-featherweight belt.
If Frampton beats him, he will then have three World champion belts all at different weights.
And he is confident that will happen.
"If I do this which I fully intend to do, I have beaten champions to win all my titles - super-bantamweight, then unified against Quigg I beat a champion to become a featherweight champion and then I want to beat a champion to become a super-featherweight champion," he said.
