Irvine crashes during Belgium race
Ards cyclist out of action after hip injury
Newtownards cyclist Martyn Irvine could be sidelined for up to six weeks after a crash in Belgium.
The 31-year-old suffered a hairline fracture of his hip after the accident during the Baloise Belgium Tour events for professional team Agua Blue Sport.
Irvine retired from cycling in 2016 but reversed his decision in October.
His best year was in 2013 when he won a European bronze medal and took silver in the points race at the World Championships.
