David Healy is warning his Linfield players to be wary of a Crusaders side on the hunt for revenge tonight at Seaview.

Ahead of their first clash of the new Danske Bank Premiership campaign, Healy says the Crues will be out to make up for losing last year’s title to the Blues.

But he says their record gives him confidence of a win which would put Linfield level on points with Coleraine.

Healy says rather than the Crues losing the league, it was the Blues who won it.

“We beat them in the County Antrim final,”he said. “We knocked them out of the Irish Cup and we beat them twice in the league towards the end of January in split.

“People says that Crusaders lost this and lost that but we actually won it.

“Anything that we won last year we put Crusaders out of, including the league. They’ll fancy a wee bit of revenge.”

Both Linfield and Coleraine have maximum points from the season to date.

The Blues have played one game less, given their recent involvement in the Scottish Challenge Cup.

The game kicks off tonight at 7.45
