Giants all out to tame Panthers in bid for Challenge Cup glory
Keefe calls for team to give their best
The Belfast Giants are gearing up for one of their most important ever games.
Adam Keefe’s side can secure a place in the final of the Challenge Cup tonight with a win over the Nottingham Panthers.
They are already 5-1 up going into the second leg of their semi.
Keefe says despite having a four-goal lead, they will be taking nothing for granted – and they are expecting a tough match at the SSE.
He told Downtown & Cool FM: “ We have got to come here and give our best or it allows them some life and they think they are back in it– we have to be at our best and win this hockey game – a one nothing win will put us through.”
Face-off in tonight’s game is 7 o’clock.
