Giants on course for Continental Cup bid after another big win
Adam Keefe's side seal second victory - beating Ritten 6-2
The Belfast Giants are just one win away from a place in the Continental Cup final.
They beat Italian side Ritten 6-2 last night – thanks to goals from Blair Riley (2), Pat Dwyer, Darcy Murphy, Francis Beauvillier and Jonathan Boxill.
The Giants’ win sees them move into the outright lead of their semi-final group after their 3-2 victory over Medvescak Zagreb.
Adam Keefe’s side now face GKS Katowice tonight (Saturday), face-off 7 o’clock at The SSE Arena, knowing a win will secure Belfast’s place in the Continental Cup Final in January.
