Giants in dream-land after stunning 8-1 win over Elite League champs
Four-point weekend for Adam Keefe's men
It just keeps getting better and better for the Belfast Giants...
Adam Keefe’s side have just enjoyed another perfect weekend – starting with a 4-0 win over Nottingham Panthers and then, last night, an incredible 8-1 hammering of current Elite League champions, Cardiff Devils.
In that game Kyle Baun helped himself to four goals with the other strikes coming from Jim Vandermeer (2), Blair Riley and Darcy Murphy.
The Giants take a break from domestic action and return to Belfast for the International Ice-Hockey Federation’s Continental Cup. The Giants opponents are Ritten Sport (Italy), Medvescak Zagreb (Croatia) and GKS Katowice (Poland).
The tournament will take place at The SSE Arena from Thursday to Saturday.
