GAA: Ulster derbies on the horizon in All-Ireland Series
The draws for the Sam Maguire and Tailteann Cups were made earlier
The losers in the Ulster Senior Football Championship Final will face Tyrone in the All-Ireland Series following today's draw in Croke Park.
Derry and Armagh meet in the provincial decider on May 14th and whoever is defeated that day will be Sam Maguire Cup Group B, alongside Tyrone, Westmeath and the winners of the Connacht decider between Galway and Sligo
Group D sees an Ulster-heavy pot as the provincial victors will be up against familiar foes in Monaghan and Donegal, as well as the losers of the Munster final clash between Kerry and Clare.
The second tier Tailteann Cup sees just three Ulster counties involved - and two of them have been drawn in the same group.
Down, who lost to Armagh in Sunday's Ulster Championship semi-final in Clones, take their place in Group B alongside Meath, Tipperary and Waterford.
In Group D, both Fermanagh and Antrim are joined by Wexford and Leitrim.
Fixtures will be confirmed by the GAA this Friday, with the opening round of the All-Ireland Series beginning on the weekend of May 20th and 21st.
The Ulster counties will have their first group fixtures the following weekend, May 27th and 28th.
