Frampton 'let's get the job done' and then hope for Santa Cruz fight
Former two-weight world champ taking on Garcia at SSE
Carl Frampton is in confident mood ahead of his big comeback fight tomorrow at the SSE Arena in Belfast.
Speaking to Downtown and Cool FM he said he could not wait to get back into the ring.
“I want to do this – I need to do it for my career,” he said. “I need for people to realise there is still plenty to give.
“It’s an important stage of my career linked up to a completely different output.”
Frampton is bidding to be the first boxer to stop Mexican Horacio Garcia.
It will be the former two-weight world champion’s first fight since his summer split with Cyclone Promotions.
He said it was vital to win tomorrow night but he had to think about what happens after this.
“One fight at a time but it’s important to have an eye on the future and I want to get the job done with this boy but Santa Cruz is the one I want.
