Evans in demand as another big bid is rejected by Baggies
Leicester make second attempt to secure services of NI defender
West Brom have turned down yet another big-money bid for club captain, Jonny Evans.
Just three days before the transfer deadline, Leicester have apparently offered up to ÂŁ23m for the Northern Ireland defender.
It is the fourth bid rejected by the Baggies.
In recent weeks Man city have come in with two offers, one worth ÂŁ18m.
And earlier in the summer, Leicester offered ÂŁ10m for the much sought-after 29-year-old.
Evans is currently injured and missed his side’s 1-1 draw with Stoke yesterday.
In his programme notes he wrote how he was “committed” to Albion and that speculation was out of his control
