Connacht see off Ulster in Belfast to make URC last four
Jack Carty landed five penalties as Connacht beat Ulster 15-10 at the Kingspan Stadium on Friday night.
It sent the visitors through to the URC semi-finals.
Connacht impressed, before Ulster staged a late rally, with captain Alan O'Connor scoring a converted try.
John Cooney's penalty opened the scoring for Ulster, before Carty made his influence felt.
O'Connor went over the line to make it 12-10, but Carty's late penalty sealed the result.
It was a disappointing note to climax Ulster's season on - they had been hoping to deliver a first piece of silverware since landing the 2006 Celtic League.
