Linfield's Champions League campaign is off and running ...

The Blues booked their place in the second qualifying round after a dramatic extra-time win over Welsh Champions, New Saints, at Windsor Park last night (Wednesday).

Ethan Devine (main pic) grabbed the crucial winner after coming off the bench.

Earlier a simply sensational strike from skipper Jamie Mulgrew, who had also come on as sub, opened Linfield's account.

That levelled the aggregate score at 1-1 to send the match into extra time.

Linfield will now play Bodo/Glimt of Norway in the next round with the first leg scheduled for Tuesday, July 19th.
