Josh Carson grabbed a dramatic late winner to secure all three points for Coleraine and leave Ards in deep trouble at the bottom of the Danske Bank Premiership table.

It looked like a share of the spoils was on the cards at Clandeboye last night when up popped Carson (main pic) to slot home from close range and give the Bannsiders a 2-1 win.

Ben Doherty (see pic below) had given Coleraine the lead but minutes later Gareth Tommons equalised.

Rodney McAree’s side are enjoying a purple patch at the moment – they are unbeaten in seven games.

But Ards are rooted to the foot of the table with just 14 points from 26 games.

Meanwhile, five other games take place today – with the pick at Seaview where Crusaders take on Linfield.

Elsewhere, Glenavon host Ballymena; Dungannon Swifts are at home to Cliftonville; Glentoran entertain Newry City and Warrenpoint take on Institute.
