Paddy Barnes set himself up nicely for his big Belfast fight next month after another pro victory last night in Edinburgh.

The 30-year-old’s points win over Spain’s Juan Hinostroza kept his a unbeaten record intact.

Barnes, who has twice won Olympic bronze medals, came out tops in each of the six rounds at the Meadowbank Arena.

Back in June, the Belfast man defeated Silvio Olteanu in a fight for the vacant WBO European Flyweight Championship at the Waterfront Hall (see main picture)

His next big clash is on November 18 when he will be on the undercard of Carl Frampton’s fight with Mexican Horacio Garcia in a 10-round featherweight contest
