Antrim's Allen makes World Grand Prix decider
Antrim's Mark Allen swept into the final of snooker's World Grand Prix on Friday night with a 6-1 win over Thailand's Noppon Saengkham in Cheltenham.
Allen moved 2-0 clear early on before his opponent pulled a frame back. However Allen hit a century plus on his way to victory.
Saengkham had impressively seen off Mark Selby, Ronnie O'Sullivan and Mark Williams to set up Friday's clash with Allen.
However Allen's performance means he is into his fourth final of the season. He will be looking to make it a third win after his previous wins at his home Northern Ireland Open and the UK Championship.
