Kirstie started with Downtown and Cool FM in 2005. Starting with newsroom shifts until her first gig on the breakfast show 18 months later. Kirstie worked with Pete Snodden for five years waking Northern Ireland up on Cool FM.

The highlights of her career include One Direction reading weather and traffic and travel on their show. She says the boys were only starting out and even then there were hordes of fans camped out in the Cool car park.

Kirstie was really caught by the Breakfast bug, moving to Downtown Radio breakfast and then completing the hat trick with a stint on Downtown Country's morning offering.

In a shift to the other end of the day, she can now be found every evening on Downtown Radio with great music from 7pm and on Downtown Country every morning from 10am.

Kirstie, having been introduced to country says she has found a new love.

Kirstie’s been involved with the huge ‘Country To Country’ events since Downtown Country launched interviewing Sam Hunt and Thomas Rhett among other country stars.
