A white Easter could be on the cards for Northern Ireland

There may be a hint of spring in the air, but don't be fooled, it appears the Beast from the East isn't done with us just yet.
According to the Met Office the cold spell is set to continue into April.
It is looking increasingly likely that we will see below average temperatures, and possibly further snow, at times over Easter.
The Met Office’s longer-term forecast from this Sunday to Easter Monday reads:
" Through the early part of next week the weather is likely to become changeable once again, with showers and rain at times. The Easter weekend is still too far away to be confident with any details. The most likely scenario currently is a spell of colder than average weather, with increased likelihood of overnight frosts, and a greater than normal chance of snow, especially in the north."
Northern Ireland has been gripped by blasts of Siberian air, dubbed the Beasts from the East, twice so far in March with snow and ice wreaking havoc across the country.
It is statistically more likely to have a white Easter than a white Christmas.
If you have bank holiday plans, it is definitely worth keeping up to date with the forecast.
We are supposed to be in spring now right?
