What will the weather be like this bank holiday weekend?

We've forgotten what the sun actually looks like 🤦‍♀️

This time last year we might have been stuck in lockdown #1 but at least we had some heat! In fact it was so warm, the government actually urged us to stay indoors 🤯

And now look at us....we've had more rain fall in May this year than expected for the full month!

But when will it change? We're all in need of a little summer right now!

Well According to the Met Office, we can expect a few days of warmer temperatures with "bright and sunny spells". ☀️

Wednesday looks set to be will be a mainly dry day with a few short rain spells in the afternoon. But what for it....highs of 18°C.

It might not record-breaking, but we'll take it!

Today:

It will be a mostly dry and bright day with sunny spells and just the odd light shower. Temperatures still on the cool side with fresh northwesterly winds slowly easing. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Wednesday:

Most places will have a dry and bright day with sunny spells and just a few afternoon showers. It will be a warmer day with light winds. Maximum temperature 18 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

Dry, bright and warmer with light winds and some sunshine. However there will be cloudy, damp conditions for a time later on Thursday and early Friday.
