Heavy rain and gale force winds are expected to hit from late-Sunday onward.
The low pressure system is expected to move eastwards with its centre somewhere between Iceland and northern Scotland.
The wet and windy weather will most likely be confined to the north and west of the UK, so Northern Ireland will have a wet and windy end to the weekend.
It will remain unsettled through Monday and Tuesday.
There are no official Met Office weather warnings in place yet - but just expect a blustery start to the new week!
