St Patrick's Day is almost upon us, and we can practically taste the Guinness.
Revellers are being told to wrap up warm as the Met Office predict a bitterly cold and wet weekend - a warning for heavy rain, sleet and snow has been issued with wintry showers forecast.
According to the Met Office; "Rain and snow will spread to Northern Ireland during the early hours of Saturday, clearing most areas late morning or lunchtime. Most of the snow is likely over hills in the north of Northern Ireland, with possibly up to 2-4 cm around some of the highest routes and towns - but even here it will probably turn to rain for a time. Elsewhere, 20 to 30 mm of rain in 12 hours may bring some flooding."
"Spray and flooding on roads probably making journey times longer."
"Bus services could be affected by snow in places, with car journeys also taking longer, mainly where routes run across hills."
The yellow warning for rain and snow comes into effect from 02:00 lasting through until 13:00 Saturday
