Canadian coffee chain Tim Hortons introduces a brand new store to Northern Ireland, with a new drive-thru outlet at Bangor's Bloomfield Shopping Centre.

Last month, Tim Hortons opened another new restaurant in Coleraine.

Following the success of five stores in Northern Ireland - Belfast city centre, Connswater Retail Park, Glengormley, Cookstown and Coleraine - the chain will begin work on their sixth site in Bangor, Co. Down early this summer.

The team at Bloomfield Shopping Centre & Retail Park were delighted to share the news on social media this afternoon. Sharing that this is 'the best news you will hear on this rainy day.' 🤩

The Tim Hortons® brand was founded by its namesake, a top professional ice hockey player, who wanted to create a space where everyone would feel at home.

Nearly eight out of 10 cups of coffee sold across Canada are served at Tim Hortons® restaurants and more than 5.3 million Canadians – approximately 15 per cent of the population – visit the café daily. So it's no wonder why it's popularity continues to grow here in Northern Ireland.

What should you order at Tim Hortons?

The most popular item on their menu has to be the Timbits® - loved by all ages! They also have a wide range of coffees, sandwiches, wraps, and toasted melts, all fresh and made-to-order using quality ingredients.

They offer quirky seasonal goods too, such as the Candy Cane Hot Chocolate at Christmas and the Gingerbread Filled Muffin.
