Two men charged after 300k of cocaine seized

The men aged 27 and 36 were detained after police stopped a car on the Templepatrick Road in Doagh on Friday.

They are due to appear before Belfast Magistrates Court on Saturday charged with possession of a Class A drug and possession of a Class A Drug with intent to supply.

A number of prescription drugs and £500 of cash were also recovered in the operation.

Detective Inspector Keith Gawley appealed for information:

“This operation is yet another example of our determination to reduce the availability of this drug and I appeal to anyone who has any concerns or information about illegal drugs to contact their local Police on the non-emergency number 101.

"Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111."
