Two charged in connection with mass brawl outside Belfast nightclub
It happened in the early hours of Sunday morning
Two men have been charged in connection with a mass brawl outside a nightclub in South Belfast over the weekend.
Police say up to 50 people were involved in the disturbance on Bradbury Place, with five officers injured while trying to restore calm.
The fight first started inside the club and then continued on the street.
A PSN statement said, “Police have charged two men following a disturbance in the Bradbury Place area of south Belfast on Sunday morning, 1st December.”
“One man, aged 44, was charged with four counts of assault on police, disorderly behaviour and resisting police. A 23-year-old man was charged with possession of a Class B controlled drug, disorderly behaviour and resisting police.”
“They are both due to appear before Belfast Magistrates Court on 23rd December. As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the PPS.”
