Two arrested as police discover weapons in Banbridge area

Tens of thousands of cigarettes, high-end vehicles, money and weapons have all been seized by PSNI and HM Revenue and Customs officials.
It follows searches on Thursday in the Banbridge area.
Two men - aged 36 and 31 - have been arrested.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "(The men) were arrested on suspicion of related offences, including possessing criminal property, and remain in custody at this time, assisting with enquiries as the investigation continues.
“Working with our partner agencies, we remain committed in our efforts to bring those who profit from criminality before the courts.
“We rely about combined efforts, including the support of local communities. It’s crucial that any suspected illicit activity is flagged so that action can be taken, and I’m appealing to anyone with information to contact us on 101.”
