Strict rules for pupils returning to school after Easter in NI
Schools will look very different over the next few months

In a bid to control the spread of coronavirus, the Education Minister Peter Weir wrote to schools with a strict set of guidelines.
When all pupils return to school after the Easter break, singing and woodwind instruments will be prohibited until further notice.
Pupils will be allowed to sing outside alone or in choirs as long as they are socially distanced.
Playing wind instruments, such as recorders or flutes, and brass instruments, such as trumpets, is also banned indoors.
Extra ventilation in classrooms
The Education Minister, in his letter, stressed the importance of well ventilated rooms and explained how fresh air can be extremely beneficial in preventing the spread of Covid-19.
He said: "The ventilation of school buildings is a key mitigating measure in reducing the risk of virus transmission.
"While needing to balance the need for increased ventilation and maintaining a comfortable temperature, schools are reminded of the importance of maximising the ventilation of classrooms and other rooms where pupils and/or staff congregate."
"While it is preferable for rooms to be ventilated at all times with windows open wherever possible, it is recommended that rooms are particularly well ventilated at the change of classes or when pupils are not in the classroom due to breaks or other activities."
