Staff and customers at a store in Carrick got more than they bargained for at the weekend, when a stray billy goat was unleashed.

The animal first jumped on cars in the forecourt, before attempting to charge at a regular customer on Saturday, aptly named Billy.

The incident caused a stir on social media with pictures appearing over the weekend. The Carrick Times Newspaper then ran the story, updating the locals on the furore.

It's thought the goat's owner promptly arrived to retrieve him, grabbing him by the horns and leaving staff and customers to return to going about their normal Saturday business.
