Security alert in north Belfast

Police have attended the scene of a security alert in north Belfast.

It follows a report of a suspicious object in the Duncairn Gardens area.

The road is closed between Edlingham Street and Upper Mervue Street.

Police say an update will be provided, but motorists and members of the public are asked to avoid the area
