Residents threatened by masked and armed men in Newry burglary

They made off with cash but no one was injured

Residents of a house in Newry have been left shaken but uninjured after an aggravated burglary.

Masked and armed men forced their way into a house on the Belfast Road in the early hours of this morning, before making off with cash.

Police are appealing for neighbour's CCTV or doorbell footage.

Detective Sergeant Lewis said: “Enquiries are ongoing and I am appealing to anyone who may have any information or CCTV, doorbell or other footage that could assist with the investigation, to contact detectives on 101 quoting reference 143 of 27/01/24.”
