PSNI officers investigate sectarian motivated crime

Police are treating an incident in North Belfast as a sectarian motivated crime.

Police are treating an incident in North Belfast as a sectarian motivated crime.

Following a number of youths in the area of Carlisle Circus at 9:30 last night, it was reported that stones were thrown at a property located in the Sherbrook Terrace area, causing damage to the home.

A police spokesperson said: “I have increased our patrols in the area to provide reassurance to residents and the community. I am also engaging with partners to work together to defuse any tensions and ensure people feel safe."
