31 year old woman arrested following burglary in west Belfast
Police are appealing for information.
A woman has been arrested following a burglary in west Belfast in the early hours of this morning.
A police spokesperson said: "Shortly after 4.20, the resident was woken by a woman, who had gained access to the property in the Dunmore Street area. The woman attempted to take a number of items of clothing, however made off empty handed after being challenged by a resident."
The 31 year old was arrested a short time later, on suspicion of burglary with intent to steal and criminal damage.
She remains in police custody at this time.
Police are appealing for information and CCTV footage.
