The Princess Royal is in Londonderry today as part of a one-day visit to Northern Ireland.

Princess Anne visited The Siege Museum, located within Derry's historic walls. She met a number of people at the museum and also unveiled a commemorative stone marking the centenary of Northern Ireland.

The Siege Museum and Exhibition is a permanent display of the history of the Associated Clubs of the Apprentice Boys of Derry.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge also visited the walled city back in September this year. The Royal couple travelled to Ulster University’s Magee Campus and the City of Derry Rugby Club.
